A Little More Information
Ok,, so you're really sick, the therapy isn't helping, and this problem is driving you to Loon Lake nestled not-so-serenly in Nut Hollow. I'm already there... just look for the guy wearing the Elmer Fudd hat and Elvis Costello glasses.
A suggestion - convert everything to SI units. When it comes to work, force, and energy, the English system of units is as awkward as a Carolina Clogger at a Russian Ballet convention. The ICON below will give you a peek at the SSE conversions and intermediate calculations.
A Lot More Information
I know - you don't really have time for this. Neither did I, but it's like a disease, starting as a minor diversion but growing into an all consuming battle with the Forces of Darkness.
If you want to see the WHOLE TAMALE, I had intended to make the spreadsheets available for download here. Unfortunately, I haven't had any success uploading multi-sheet Excel files - only the first sheet of the workbook makes it to the site. I'll work on getting some form of those posted, but in the meantime you can send me an email request (jack@sevensistersenviro.com) and I'll send them right over. There are two spreadsheets -
First - the energy and fuel calculations spreadsheet which is just an extension of the previously supplied tables, and as the title denotes, completes the calculations of energy and fuel requirements.
Second - the total fuel consumption numbers (both combustion and ruminant by-pass) are manually transferred to the appropriate input cells (Cells B10 on the green-tabbed sheets) in a GHG emissions calculation spreadsheet and the totals are output on the Summary page.
Have a great Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year!
